Robert Birdsey

Robert is a Managing Director and one of the co-founders of GreenFront Energy Partners. Prior to GreenFront, Robert was Head of BB&T’s Energy Investment Banking group, with oversight for 100+ corporate clients that spanned the entire Energy industry value chain. Before BB&T, Robert was a member of J.P. Morgan’s Energy Investment Banking group. He also serves as a Board Member for the Virginia Solar Energy Development Authority, appointed by Governor Youngkin.

Robert earned his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and he holds a B.A. degree from Sewanee: The University of the South.


Adam Hahn

Adam is a Managing Director and one of the Founding Partners of GreenFront Energy Partners. Prior to helping found GreenFront, Adam was a Senior Vice President at BB&T Capital Markets, leading the bank’s utility investment banking coverage. Adam has experience leading debt and equity capital raises, as well as advising clients on buy and sell-side M&A transactions. Prior to joining BB&T, Adam worked in the Chief Financial Officer’s group at Dominion Energy, where he performed various financial analysis and capitalization functions.

Adam holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond, and a Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Finance, from James Madison University.

Whit Wall

Whit is a Managing Director and one of the Founding Partners of GreenFront Energy Partners. Prior to GreenFront, Whit was a Senior Vice President in BB&T’s Energy Investment Banking group, leading the bank’s midstream and infrastructure investment banking coverage. Whit has experience originating both public and private debt and equity capital for BB&T’s Energy clients, as well as advising on strategic engagements. Whit also has experience working as an environmental consultant in New York City, where he performed various functions ranging from Phase I due diligence to project planning for on-site remediation.

Whit earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Integrated Science and Technology, from James Madison University.
